Let It Go

"Still other seed fell on good soil. It came

up and yielded a crop, a hundred times

more than was sown." (Luke 8:8 NIV)

How many times do we allow things in our past

to hinder us and to keep us from fulfilling what

new door God has to open up for us now?

Sometimes we hold so tight to the past that we

can't grow and become like the seed that grows

into the stem, and then to the beautiful flower.

I used to love my flowers to death. I would water

and water them until the poor things would drown

in their roots, consequently killing out their chance

to grow into beautiful flowers. My oh my.

Now I water my plants only on Mondays and they

look so much nicer and healthier.

God has steps and chapters for our lives just like the

seed that grows when treated properly by the grower.

We need to open ourselves up to those changes and

levels. God knows what is best for us and will gently

lead us as we trust Him into the proper stages.

We may long for the life we once had when our bodies

were stronger and healthier.

No matter what our past.... healthier days, being

able to hold down a job, being stronger in body...

God has good and hope for us now and in our future.

If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take

you to a new level in him......LET IT GO!!! You

night be surprised at how much happier you will

be with what wonderful things God has in His

plans for you.
